Set up Seawall on any device
Seawall works through a setting your phone, computer or TV already has. Pick your device: most guides take about a minute.

Which method does my device use?
All four do the same thing: your device asks Seawall for addresses, and Seawall doesn’t give out the ones that serve ads and trackers.
- Private DNSAndroid 9 and newer
- A system setting. Paste your Seawall address once and it covers every app on any network.
- ProfileiPhone, iPad and Mac
- You install a small Seawall profile. It turns on encrypted DNS for the whole device.
- DNS over HTTPSWindows 11
- Encrypted DNS in the network settings, with your personal Seawall template.
- DNS addressesSmart TVs, routers, Windows 10
- Two addresses in the network settings. Set them on your router and every device on your Wi-Fi is covered.
After setup, run the ad blocker test
Open it on the device you just set up. All 24 addresses should show “blocked”.
