Is DNS down, or is it just you?
If there’s a DNS outage on our side, you’ll see it at the top of this page. If everything here is green but sites don’t open, or your computer says “DNS server not responding”, the problem is on the device or the network. Try these steps.
Check the internet
Open another site or app. If nothing opens, restart your router or switch to mobile data: your internet provider may be down.
Run the ad blocker test
Open it on the device with the problem. It shows whether the device uses Seawall right now.
Run the testCheck the Private DNS address
On Android, the hostname must match your account exactly. On public Wi-Fi, set Private DNS to Automatic, sign in to the Wi-Fi, then switch back.
Fix Private DNS errorsStill not working?
Windows may say “DNS server isn’t responding”, other devices just “DNS not responding”. Tell us the device and the exact error, and we’ll help.
